ititll happened after mizzell says a manan told police her breast feeding was "offensive." mizzell says when the officer threatened to cite her for indecent exposure...she refused to comply. nebraska law states that a mother may breast feed her child in any public or private location, where she is authorized to be. when we asked about the incident, this is what o-p-d had to say: "officers followed up, and did not cite the woman for any offenses. as for claims or allegations of inappropriate behavior by officece, we recommend ms.mizzell file a fororl complaint with the department so we can investigate her claims." when mizzell was eventually offered an apology by the officer, it wasn't what she was hoping to hear.
